When construction becomes your biggest nightmare

Lakshay Gupta grew up watching his family navigate the chaos of home construction — unreliable contractors, payments made on trust and never accounted for, months of delay and budget overruns.

As a civil engineer who spent a year on construction sites in Punjab and Chandigarh, he saw the same problem from the other side. The insight was simple: building a beautiful home shouldn't mean putting your life on hold.

So in 2025, Sambhav and Lakshay started UrbanConstruct — a construction company that takes full contractual and structural responsibility for every home it builds.
